Lead Ads Privacy Notice

Effective Date: September 13, 2025
Quick summary: if you submit our Facebook/Instagram lead form, we will use the email you provide only to contact you about testing the iOS version of Study the Bible App (TestFlight invite + occasional beta feedback). You can opt out at any time, and we won’t contact you for anything else.

1. What We Collect

  • Email address (required) and name (optional) as provided by you in Meta’s lead form.
  • Source: Facebook/Instagram lead ads form submitted by you.
  • We do not pull any other data from your Facebook/Instagram profile.

2. How We Use Your Email

  • To send you a TestFlight invite for the iOS beta.
  • To send at most a few short beta feedback requests or updates related to testing.

No other contact: We will not use your email for newsletters, promotions, unrelated updates, retargeting, or resale. We do not sell your data.

Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form.

3. Opt-Out & Deletion

  • You can opt out anytime by replying “unsubscribe” to any email from us or by emailing info@churchapp.site.
  • When you opt out, we will stop contacting you and remove your email from our tester list within 72 hours.
  • You may also request access or deletion of your data at the same address.

4. Sharing & Processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted service providers to operate the beta program, for example:

  • Meta (to collect your form submission).
  • Apple TestFlight (to deliver the iOS beta invite).
  • Email service provider (to send invite/feedback emails).

These processors act on our instructions and only for the purposes described above.

5. Retention

We keep your email on our tester list until the earlier of: (a) you opt out or request deletion, or (b) 90 days after the beta ends, after which it is removed from the tester list.

6. Security

  • Data is stored in a restricted-access tester list.
  • Transport is protected with encryption (HTTPS).
  • We limit access to staff who need it for the beta.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our beta program is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn a child has provided information, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes

We may update this notice. We’ll change the Effective Date above when we do.
