- Purchases: subscription and chat credit purchase details (processed by Apple App Store or Google Play).
- Device & Diagnostics: device type, OS version, and crash logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core features (Bible reading, prayers, Q&A, quizzes).
- Retrieve Bible text stored in Google Firestore for reading and Q&A responses.
- Generate answers using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ground responses in Scripture.
- Sync your bookmarks, prayers, and progress across devices.
- Process subscriptions and chat credit purchases.
- Improve performance, fix issues, and develop new features.
- Communicate important updates or support responses.
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties for marketing.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Your study activity (e.g., bookmarks, prayers) and Bible text are stored securely in Firestore.
- Payments are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store card numbers.
- We use encryption and industry-standard safeguards to protect your data.
4. Talk & Learn Q&A
- Requires internet connection.
- When you ask a question, the app retrieves relevant Bible text from Firestore and uses it to generate an answer.
- Your questions and retrieved passages are used only to answer your query—never for advertising or resale.
5. Chat Credits
- Starter credits are included.
- Buy more anytime:
- 1,000 credits for $2.99 (USD)
- 5,000 credits for $9.99 (USD)
- Purchases are managed securely via the App Store or Google Play.
6. Your Rights
- Access your personal data stored with us.
- Delete your account and associated data by emailing privacy@churchapp.site.
- Opt out of push notifications in your device settings.
7. Children’s Privacy
Study the Bible App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn a child has provided information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post updates in the app and on our website and update the Effective Date above.
